VIN1C9CT21S5HH291070This is a 1987 CX 25 Prestige long body (extra 10")Citroen. (limosine)The CX features a “stalk-free” layout, with turn signals, wiper controls, horn, and headlights positioned so that they can be operated by the driver’s fingertips from the steering wheel. Interior options include power windows, power sunroof, key power locks, and rear window shades. A Kenwood 328 replaces the factory stereo located between the front seats. All electrics , sun roof and all windows work and the A/C blows coldincluding a rear A/C unit with separate control. fuel guage works intermitingly, Not sure about cruise control, needs rear muffler installed(being done by me) No leaks, new spheres all around, transmission flushed, oil/filter changed. Paint is not great-but shows well. some glue/tape residue from trim getting loose at one time on left door. New headliner. Most wiring replaced. Lifts and lowers as designed. I am not aware of any other issues. Sold AS IS . All done by Gary at "Fun Cars of Georgia"This Citroen model has full U.S. specs. Not a "grey" car converted by shade tree mechanic. The CX was never officially imported into the United States, but a New Jersey firm legally federalized this Prestige model, designating it a CXA."Beginning in 1983,CxAuto(CXA), based in Lebanon, New Jersey, remanufactured the CX in the Netherlands before exporting them to the United States with full US compliance.[56][57]The cars werecrash testedas required byNHTSA. The bumpers were fitted with shock absorbing elements, the passenger doors were fitted with side impact bars, the form-fitting headlamps were replaced with four round capsule headlamps and fog lamps, the exhaust system was fitted with oxygen sensor and catalyst, and so forth. They offered a 5-year/50,000mi (80,000km) warranty and sold the CX cars in 49 states except California (due to stricter emission regulations).[58][59]CxAuto removed the Citroën and CX badges and double chevron logos and marketed them as the CXA."
