1967 Chrysler Imperial Additional Info:
1967 was the year that the unibody was designed bu the Engineers. In 1968 the epa and bean counters got involved. The 440 had o deck pistons and the front calipers are the size of today's Brembo 6 piston calipers. The rear-end had upper control arms to allow a lief spring. It came with TWO evaporator cores. The Leather was the best known, nd the car stickered over $800 more than the Cadillac or Lincoln of the time. It was the best year and best driving Imperial made. The car is and has been inside for decades. It still has the original cirti card.. I drove it with my son one year on the Power tour and he Really knew why since we drove a 440 Cuda the year before. I love this car, ut I have to many and can't drive them enough. You won't find a better one anywhere. It has electric everything and all of the details have been rebuilt by Chrysler people.
