1965 Chrysler 300 Series Additional Info:
For sale is a solid 1965 Chrysler 300 2 door hardtop. This car is a factory red/white car with red bucket seats and factory air.The car also has fully functional power brakes and steering. I have done a number of things to the car including: Plugs, Wires, Cap, Rotor. The car also had the front and rear bumpers rechromed, new door "wind lacing" and wiper blades. It will have to be painted, but there is no structural rust in the trunk pans or the floor pans. There is a small hole behind a piece of trim on the left rear corner, but it could be easily repaired.I also had the heads rebuilt, this brought on new head gaskets, intake gaskets, etc.. etc.. After putting the heads on, I discovered that the car still has a misfire on cylinder(8) specifically, which I believe to be an issue with a lifter or push rod, as the car did run on the cylinder before, but now ticks and misfires.I would love to finish the car and have it running the way it should, but I have multiple "irons in the fire" and just do not have the time or energy to finish the project. The car will have to be towed, so do not ask if you can drive it.I have all of the factory air components, but they are in the trunk. The car also still runs Coker bias ply white walls, but will need new rear tires, as the current ones on the back are bald. The car also comes with new chrome transmission cooler lines.I have never driven the car more than just in the driveway, so I can not say if it will hold 50 miles an hour or not, but it was a daily driver for the previous owner for a number of years. The trim that is missing from the passenger side door is in the trunk
