1977 Chrysler Cordoba Additional Info:
I am the second owner of this low mileage 1977 Chrysler Cordoba! Currently has a little over 29000 original miles! I bought this car at the original owners estate auction a few years ago. It had been sitting for a few year so I replaced the fuel tank sending unit, gave it a complete tune up, had the carb rebuilt and a few odds and ends. Runs and drives great! Interior is near mint. Factory manual moon roof car!!! Burgandy cloth. Dash pad is prefect! Exterior paint appears to be all original and is very presentable for cruise nights and local cars shows. It does show a few pings and some scratches. NO RUST other than a couple of surface spots down low on the doors and fenders. Drivers door has a series of knicks where they used it as a door stop for their other car! Drivers door has one small dent down at the bottom seem where maybe it opened against something. Trunk is sweet with the original spare which has never been on the ground! Chrome on the car is extremely nice! I drive this car locally and always gets looks and people talking to me about it. I added the police wheels and hub caps but still have the factory 15 inch steel wheels and hub caps whish the new owner is welcome to have. Michelin radials all around are probably about 80%. 400 Big Block motor and automatic transmission. The lean burn distributor was already replaced when I bought it. I just added a new upper radiator hose, thermostat and one valve cover gasket that was leaking. I love this car but a chance for another car I've been wanting puts it up on the market. This is a great deal for an entry level collector car. A/C is all there but does not blow cold. Never had it looked at. Cruise works, Power windows work. Power locks work only from the drives side. AM/FM radio front speakers are a little crackly so I just leave it on the rears. You are more than welcome to come look at it in person or have somebody inspect the car for you. One of the best riding and driving cars I've ever owned! I will be posting a video on youtube soon and creating a photbucket album with many pictures. Thew things I know that are wrong with the car: drivers vanity mirror cover is broke off and in the glove box. Carb is sensitive when the car sits for a few hours, meaning it seems to flood easy. Cold no problems, hot no problems its just that few hours period. Motor has just the slightest skip to it when idiling. I've never checked or messed with the timing? When running 70 MPH for a ways in the summer heat it runs a little hot. Maybe the new thermostat will cure that? I took this to the Woodward Dream Cruise in Michigan last summer and it did fine in traffic. I trailered it up there. If I think of anything lese I will update the auction. It really is a great car and I'll miss it, but on to the next one! As with all old cars it's sold as-is.
