The exterior retains a substantial amount of its original chrome and stainless trim, which is becoming increasingly difficult and expensive to replace on these cars.

WHY THIS CAR IS WORTH RESTORINGThe 1966 New Yorker is one of Chrysler's classic large C-body automobiles and this example retains much of what makes these cars interesting: the big 440 V8, original interior, substantial original trim and the overall character of an unmodified 1960s American luxury car.
It has not been stripped or turned into a parts car. It remains a complete restoration candidate with considerable original equipment still in place.
For someone looking for a genuine 1960s Mopar project, this is an opportunity to acquire a substantial and increasingly uncommon full-size Chrysler.
IMPORTANTThis is a restoration/project vehicle, approximately 60 years old, which has been stored for several years.
It is not represented as running, roadworthy or mechanically tested.
The buyer should assume that mechanical recommissioning and restoration will be required.
The vehicle is sold as-is, where-is, with no warranty expressed or implied.
Please ask any questions before bidding and arrange an inspection if required.
Thank you for looking.
