Vehicle Details
This is one of 826 1962 Imperial Custom ever produced. I’ve own this car for the past nine years. It was originally a black plated California car until 2009. The previous owner whom I purchased the car had the following work performed: 1. Fully rebuilt factory carb., 2. New 3.5 hp “mini starter” for trouble free starting. 3. New 2.5” exhaust system from manifold to rear number with flow masters. 4. Completely rebuilt seats with (OEM) cloth. 5. New Carpet and custom door panels. 6. Reworked “Electroluminescent” dash lighting. 7. All dash gauges and turn signal repaired and functioning. 8. Complete new braking system. 9. Sandblasted and power coated wheels. 10. Lowered suspension. 11. New water pump, thermostat, fan clutch, and radiator. 12. New belts and hoses. 13. New plugs and wires. 14. New valve cover gaskets. 15. New trunk gasket. 16. NOS tail light lenses. 17. Restored bumper jack and tools. Under my ownership I’ve had the front brakes converted from drums to rotors. I also converted the A/C from R12 to R134, and replaced the Flowmaster exhaust back to original.
