1965 Chrysler New Yorker NICE!

1965 Chrysler New Yorker Additional Info:

1965 Chrysler New Yorker 6-window Town Sedan. 70,600 miles. No rust, no bondo. I am the 3rd owner. Car was ordered new out of Charleston, WV by a doctor. He passed away about 7-8 years ago, and the car was purchased from his estate by a local buy who stored it in a barn. I purchased the car from the local guy in August of 2021 and had it transported to Tampa.
Work under the hood included:
*Rebuilt carburetor*New fuel pump*New alternator*New radiator and hoses*New master cylinder and all brake lines and hoses, wheel cylinders and brake shoes.*Water pump and thermostat*Belts*Aftermarket AC system, works great, blows cold.*Battery 2023
A front-end rebuild was performed, replacing bushings, ball joints, tie rod ends etc. Shock absorbers replaced. Tires are likely about 5 years old, with likely 12,000 miles on them.
Carpet was replaced with correct-color carpeting from ACC. Seats were just re-upholstered to factory look in February 2026. Headliner is excellent. Door panels excellent with one wear spot on driver's arm rest. Dash light replaced with LED bulbs. All lights work, except back-up lights. Gear oil replaced 2024.
An excellent running and driving car, with cold AC, powerful engine, smooth ride. The paint has numerous minor scratches, blotches, but is presentable as a 20-footer. Most of the paint is original, with some touch-ups here and there. All glass is excellent.
