1983 Chrysler New Yorker 5th Avenue- Only 78,000 Miles!- Unrestored Original This well cared for '83 New Yorker 5th Avenue has been in the same family since new! Our seller tells us that the mechanical condition is excellent with no knowledge of repairs required to the best of his knowledge, and even the A/C has had an R-12 recharge along with a list of other maintenance items attended to. The family was fastidious about its care over the 40 years of ownership. It is very handsome in White with a Blue Velour Cloth Interior. Appears to be all original! This is a great value (even for simply transportation!) in a nicely preserved example of this early 80's "Luxury Sedan". Other "fun facts": - ?The 1983 Chrysler 5th Avenue was a full-size luxury sedan that was part of Chrysler's K-car platform. It had a boxy, angular exterior design with chrome accents and a vinyl roof. The car was powered by a 5.2-liter V8 engine that produced around 140 horsepower and 250 lb-ft of torque. It had a three-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. The interior featured plush velour seating, wood trim, and a digital dashboard. Other standard features included power windows and locks, air conditioning, and cruise control. It was known for its smooth ride and spacious cabin, making it a popular choice for families and luxury car enthusiasts.
