This New Yorker is equipped with the "PUSHBUTTON" 3 Speed TorqueFlight Automatic and Factory "AirTemp" Chrysler Air Conditioning. It has the special square Deluxe steering wheel. Here is a chance to motor in style like the Kennedy's of the sixties. **** This Luxury Sedan has only LOGGED 38,259 miles since new. YES YOU READ THAT RIGHT, only 38,259 Actual Orig miles since new ... **** --------------------------------------------- The top-of-the-line 413ci "WEDGE" V8 engine was installed from the factory in this lux cruiser and has a POWERFUL 340 bhp with 10:1 compression and accelerated from 0-60 in a 8 sec. This was considered impressive at the time. This was a GREAT mix of PRESTIGE and POWER! --------------------------------------------- This was an all new design for 1963 and was a "GHIA" italian inspired design. This was an impressively powerful package in a chassis that was shortened 4 inches in wheelbase for the 1963 model year, producing a fairly nimble, highly powerful sub-4,000 lb luxury cruiser. --------------------------------------------- My New Yorker is very, very original. With only 38k miles and mostly original paint, this car remains a great historical example of this period of automotive excellence. The interior is almost spotless with exception of some seems between the fabric and vinyl on the driver seat separating (see pics). The carpet is very nice and original. The seats and headliner are original. The dashboard is amazingly pristine. The glass in the car is wonderous. The majority of the brightwork is near impeccable. The gold anodizing on the New Yorker emblems is tip-top. It general this is a really well preserved time capsule. --------------------------------------------- This car starts and runs easily and is very, very quiet. The fuel system has been updated with a fresh fuel tank (new) and fuel lines. The fuel system is in excellent condition and just repaired, recently. --------------------------------------------- What does this car need immediately for daily driving?: It needs the brakes maintenanced. Currently the car has virtually, no brakes -- the pedal goes all the way to the floor. Also the power steering system is leaking. Also, the heater core, as well. The car will have to be picked up and trailered upon purchase, but these items are maintenance related and can be overcome, fairly easily. The air conditioning system is complete and intact, but is not maintained and will have to be serviced, possibly repaired and charged to be used effectively. This car was ordered as a Radio Delete, which is unique and RARE. As you can see from the videos attached, the car drives quite nicely and starts and runs amazingly smooth and quiet. This is a really nice driving car. --------------------------------------------- The last time this car was regularly out on the highways and by-ways of America, was 1979. This can be seen by the Paris, MO City sticker on the windshield (picture in the gallery, included). The car sits on date coded 1977 biased ply tires. They are not rotted, hold air and rotate nicely, but otherwise more than likely are not safe at highway speeds. They should be replaced. --------------------------------------------- The original SPARE and JACK are in the trunk. The SPARE still has its factory chalk marks (see photo) and is brand new and has never been on the ground. --------------------------------------------- This cars has been garaged in a climate controlled environment for the last 45 years with little to no driving.
