Had to relist because the winning bidder's wife was really angry he bought a car without asking her. Please make sure nobody will be mad at you for buying a vehicle before you bid! Up for your consideration is this 1992 Chrysler LeBaron Highline Convertible! It features a 3.0L V6 engine, a four speed automatic transmission, and is front wheel drive. The car has 128,944 miles on it. Runs and drives awesome! Suspension and brakes feel excellent. Previous owner told us that the transmission was rebuilt by Aamco around 8 years ago and around that time it also had the convertible top replaced but he did not provide us with paperwork. That being said, the transmission shifts really well and feels very responsive. It's first stint in life was as a Budget rental car down in Ft. Meyers in sunny Florida! That might explain why the underside of the car is super nice! Please see the video where I do a video tour of the vehicle and show off the rockers and undercarriage. It also explains the car being pretty much as basic as they can be but having the v6 engine, auto trans, cruise control and air conditioning as options. Best of all, the a/c system and cruise control work great! Power top is functional but as you can see in the video there are a few little patches done to it. Doesn't leak into the car at all even with the goofy snow storm we recently had so that's good. Power front windows work fine, both rear quarter windows are stuck in the up position (typical LeBaron fault) so they'll need to have the motors and regulators cleaned or replaced for those to work again. Paint still shines nice but, typical with bright red, there is some clearcoat peel and the bumpers have some fading. New seat covers, wheel covers, and floor mats were just installed to make it look a bit nicer. Sony aftermarket radio works and it sounds okay. Headlight doors are still working fine! Trunk struts are tired and need to be replaced to hold the trunk lid open by itself. Comes with a tan parade boot to cover the top while it's down. All in all, it's a really decent example of a car that used to be everywhere and with a little time and effort could be super nice again... or you can just enjoy it like it is now and have a lot of fun cruising in the sun! I would keep the car for myself but my garage is already too full with my old Plymouth Reliant K wagon especially since I lost my storage space I used to park the wagon in.
