1966 Chrysler Newport Additional Info:

Up for sale is a nice 1966 Chrysler Newport with a 440 Big Block! This has factory AC ( pump not installed but included) power windows, power brakes and power steering! This car has been well cared for and enjoyed for many years. This came from a car collection and was owned for 20+ years. The car was stripped down and redone 10 years ago and has only had about 12k miles put on since. This is a very nice driver and ton of fun to drive and enjoy. Here is a breakdown on the car.
NEW:This is all the new parts in the past 60 days. Upper/ lower radiator hoses, heater hoses, ignition coil, points, spark plugs, oil/filter, V belts, air filter, Holley carb, battery, rubber fuel line, coolant flush, thermostat, hose clamps, master cylinder and brake fluid flush.

Engine/Transmission:This has a mild built 440 big block with some nice aftermarket parts. It has a small RV cam, .30 over TRW pistons, Edelbrock intake, Holley polished carb, aluminum high flow water pump, Mopar performance finned valve covers and air cleaner, factory big block manifolds, and Taylor 409 plug wires. The transmission is a 3 speed automatic that has a mild B&M shift kit and 2400 stall converter.
Interior:Overall the interior shows very well and is clean and well kept. It is a burgundy color interior with some aftermarket live gauges, tach and afr gauge mounted under dash. It has power windows which all work as they should. Front seat has been redone and it super comfortable. Interior to me is a 8/10
Exterior/underside:The car was completely stripped and repainted about 10 years ago. They did a nice job and the paint still shows well. Chrome is nice with a few pieces showing wear from its age. Car is very straight and clean. Car is very solid and only has a few spots in the trunk that had repairs done as you can see pictured. They cut out and riveted patch panels in there. Underside of car is solid with factory bed liner still coated. Pans and braces are good. This has 4 wheel power drum brakes that work very well. It has dual 2.5” exhaust with Thrush mufflers. Nice sound at idle and on the road. Factory style Chrysler full face 15” hubcaps with black Bart wheels. Tires are 245/60/15 rears and 215/65/15 fronts. Tires have nice even tread with 80% on the fronts and 60% left on rears.
Cons:It does have the mopar big block piston slap noise when it’s cold and the TRW pistons are known for that. Needs fuel sending unit since the gas gauge isn’t working and the turn signal switch since you manually have to shut the turn signal off after using it to the right.
This car runs and drives great. Gets attention everywhere you go and has an awesome sound. I have a clean title in hand and the car is ready to go. I have a shippers available but you’re responsible for any and all shipping costs. Deposit is due with 24 hours of the auction ending. Car will need to be paid for in full and picked up within 7 days. The car is for sale locally as well so I have the right to end the auction at any time. There is a reserve but it is set much lower than what this car will bring. Bid to win!
