INFORMATION:This 1929 Chrysler Roadster Race Car is an incredibly rare offering and believed to be a one-of car. I am the owner and have a clear title in my name. I purchased this car last year from an estate sale of a car collector intending to get it back on the road and show it, however, I have simply not had time do anything with the car and have 2 other restoration projects underway, so I have decided to sell. Ihave very limited history. I believe the chassis was shipped to Italy and custom bodied there, and later ended up in Argentina, before being brought back to the USA and restored. The car has been in long term storage and needs to be completely gone thru before driving. The carburetors need to be rebuilt and the brakes need a complete overhaul. The car starts and runs but is not drivable at this time and will need to be trailed home. I have no additional information pertaining to the car or history or racing history and the previous long-term owner is deceased.
DISCLAIMER:This car is 94 years old and has wear and tear. I have done my best to describe the car and you are welcome to come look at or inspect the vehicle. This car is sold as-is, where-is, with no warranty expressed, written, or implied. The buyer is responsible to satisfy themselves as to the condition of the vehicle prior to offer or purchase. Buyer is responsible for transportation/shipping arrangementsand costs, and I will work with coordinating with your shipper as much as possible.
TRADES:I would prefer a cash sale. However, I may be open to some trades of similar value or of lesser value plus cash, including a 1930s luxury car (senior Packard, Lincoln K Series, Cadillac, etc.), mid to late 1950s luxury coupe or convertible, or 1960s muscle car. Any trade must be in outstanding turn-key condition and ready for extensive road trips.
PAYMENT:$1000 non-refundable deposit due via PayPal within 24 hours of purchase. Remaining balance due within 5 days. Will accept certified check or wire transfer (must clear my bank prior to signing over title).
