1938 Chrysler Royal Business Coupe Additional Info:

This 1938 Chrysler Royal Business Coupe has been in the Willamette Valley of Oregon for the majority of its life time. It had the same owner from 1973 till 2016. The car has been through a previous restoration that happened around the early 2000's. It received a new paint job at that time and a full engine rebuild. The car has been meticulously maintained for many years and is ready for its new home. The paint job does have some imperfections that are starting to show but are not very noticeable from 10 feet away. Slight bubbling under the paint is occurring in a few areas but the underside of the car is extremely clean (photos upon request). It's powered by a flathead 6 cylinder engine with a 3 speed transmission. Recent tune up was completed in June. The car does have overdrive installed which helps with higher speeds. Tires are fairly new. It runs and drives very smoothly, and stops with ease. The windshield wipers work, as do all of the lights. It has turn signals installed as well. The gas gauge, radio and horn do not work at this time. All other gauges seem to function as they should. Runs right around 160-170⁰ on a nice day. Floors and trunk pan are solid. Rockers/steps are solid, as are the fenders and quarter panels. The doors shut with exteme ease and are straight. This a beautiful example of a well cared for late 1930's coupe and turns heads everywhere! Original oil bath air cleaner is included.
