PLEASE READ - NO RESERVE YOU ARE THE LAST BIDDER YOU OWN THIS CAR -To begin the last car I sold on eBay the buyer responded until getting a shipping quote then didn't respond. If you plan to buy I respectfully ask you don't wast over a week of my time or your time and follow through with the purchase. In NH you do not need a title for a car older than 1999 therefore it will be sold with a NH Bill of Sale hand written with all the details of the vehicle. I can have a NH VIN verification done if needed. If you may back out if of the sale due to paperwork or DVM questions please call your local DMV prior to bidding.
The vehicle is is 1968 Chrysler Newport 2-Door working convertible top! I have owned the vehicle for about 5 years in which I had plans to restore but have not gotten around to. The vehicle shows great in pictures but it is a 1968 and it has been repainted and is not perfect. The carb needs a cleaning as the motor will run but only idles for a min or so and seems to die from starvation. I have not driven this car in 5 years although I have ran it for several mins to keep the motor fresh until the radiator popped and then it sat for a few more years not running. When I say the motor runs that is because I just today 10.22.2020 had it idling.
THINGS I KNOW IT NEEDS- BRAKES REWORKED PROBABLY WHEEL CYLINDERS AND DRUMS IT DOES STOP WHEN MOVING BUT IS WEAK- CARB CLEANED AND REWORKED- RADIATOR (AS DESCRIBED ABOVE THE SIDE OF IT POPPED AND DRANIED ALL FLUID)- TOP COULD USE REPLACING ALTHOUHG IT WAS TESTED TODAY 10.22.2020 IT MADE TWO PASSES AND WORKED FINE- THERE IS A BATTRERY KILL SWITCH BY THE PEDALS AS IT PROBABLY HAS A DRAW FROM THE BATTERY- THE IGNITION WORKED BUT YOU HAVE TO FLIP THE SWITCH TO GET POWER- NEEDS SOME ELECTRICAL AS NOT ALL POWER ITEMS WORK (FAILRY SIMPLE ON THIS YEAR CAR)- ITS A TORSION FRONT SUSPENSION SO NOT SHOCKS BUT IM SURE IT NEEDS A REFRESH ON THE BUSHINGS ECT.- TRUNK HAS SOME RUST BUT NOT HOLES- BODY HAS HAD REPAIRES AND A OKAY PAINT JOB NOTHING TO WRITE HOME ABOUT- TIRES- INTERIOR HAS SOME FLAWS SEE PICS BUT NOT HORRBILE AND ALMOST ALL LITTLE PARTS AND PIECES ARE PRESENT- THE CAR DID DRIVE UP AND DOWN DRIVEWAY BEFORE RADIATOR WENT SO THE TRANSMISSION SHOULD WORK FINE.- ROCKERS ARE MOSTLY SOILD SEE PICS AND THE REAR TIRE FENDER COMES OFF ON BOTH SIDES NOT ROTTED OUT
