1989 Chrysler Conquest Additional Info:

This is probably one of the cleanest Conquests in the country. Starts and runs great. Original interior from the carpet to the headliner is like new, in fact still smells new !! Still has the original Conquest floor mats. Not a speck of rust on this vehicle riding on Bridgestone Potenza tires with professionally polished Conquest rims. Upgraded K & N air filter, MSD ignition, Hard piped, Polished head cover, Some motor work done previous to my owning it by Lower Shores Performance in Delaware, which I am not exactly sure what all they did almost 20 yrs ago. I have owned this for approx. 14-15 yrs but have rarely driven it and only put about 500 miles on it since owning. Now for what is wrong with it. It is an automatic and half the time will not shift into overdrive. It is a push button overdrive and does work sometimes, so I think it is an electrical issue with the button on the shifter as I have replaced the solenoid on the transmission and still acts the same. There are no shifting or slipping problems other than that. It also has a small dent on the hood where a mechanic left a wrench lay and shut the hood, it is small tho, about the size of a qtr and barely noticeable. I myself would not drive it a long distance just because of the overdrive situation, that and so few miles have been put on it in the last 15 yrs. that it would be best to have it gone over. I do think that the things that are wrong with it are fairly minor. All in all this is a GREAT car and to find them this clean anymore is extremely rare. Good luck bidding !!
