1928 Chrysler Series 62 Additional Info:
Kept in a protected garage in Los Altos Hills over the last 30 years, this is a great classic car "barn find" for someone. 4 door sedan with the great early model look. The car last ran around 2005 when the interior was redone with vinyl seating that has kept well to date. At that point everything ran fine (and used in my wedding). Only issue then was one of the rear doors tends to stick. CAR DOES NOT RUN AT THIS TIME. Uncertain of key location. Introduced in mid-1926 as the Series 60, Chrysler's Series 62 for 1928 was essentially a carry-over from the previous years as the Company's small six-cylinder chassis. Seven factory body styles were offered ranging from $1,075 to $1,235. Standard equipment included an electric gas gauge, hydraulic brakes, a dash-mounted ignition lock and light controls mounted on the steering wheel. Total production for the Series 62 was 76,857 units.
