After selling my exclusive vehicle business, I decided to once again offer top value, one-of-a-kind, classic, antique, and unique vehicles at reasonable prices. The exciting 1947 Chrysler Highlander offered here is a prime example.

This is a modern head-turning original Arizona car powered by a total build 30 over GM 454 engine. It is an absolute go anywhere automobile. Apleasure to drive at any speed. Not your typical choppy-ride Ford or Chevy. It handles, drives and rides very well even on bumpy roads. There are no mechanical issues and solid as a rock. Nice enough to show and not too nice to drive.

MECHANICS ANDTECHNICAL

This car was owned and driven by the same family for many years. It was an Arizona car from new. The car has been driven 8000 miles since it was built and has been tried and tested to be roadworthy. The engine was built for this car. The intent was to build a very fast car that could be driven daily. It had to be dependable, ride well, be comfortable, attractive, a one only with no comparables.....commonly known as a'sleeper'. Also, it had to handle, drive, and ride like a modern-day automobile. The car has power steering, power brakes, tilt wheel, and air conditioning.

It is a fully built 30 over GM 454 with a 4 bolt main, 750 Holley, RV cam with tons of low-end torque, Ron Davis radiator with two electric fans. The trans is a 700 R4 with a TCI constant pressure valve body. The rear end is a 10 bolt main posi unit with 2.70 gears.
There are six inches between you and the highway giving this ride a fearsome and awesome stance. It has a Nova subframe with disc brakes and a heavy-duty sway bar. It rolls on GM steel wheels 15X6 front with 4-inch backspace and 15x8 rear. They are finished in cherry red.

Tired of the way too many chopped, channeled, typical everyday rod? Here's one thatoffers a step in another direction.....luxury-smooth ride – a fast and dependable automobile.
