I bought This 1966 Chrysler newport 2 door hardtop for advertising at our classic showroom here in iowa. The car originated in florida and never saw a winter or snow. It is a true survivor with best I can see original paint and interior. It shows very well with lots of curb appeal and eye ball. I had our mechanic drive it home round trip 50 miles twice and said the car rode and drove very well. the trans shifted all gears the way it should. The v8 engine runs strong with no knocks misses or smoke. This car has a nice dual exhaustthat has a great rumble sound.
Watch the video to see it driving along with a ton of pics (close to 100 of the underside, trunk, body and interior. The mechanic told me that the front brake pads were starting to wear and could be replaced. the car does stop fine the way it is now. The title says actual miles although as we drove it I noticed the odometer coming and going. I am selling it miles exempt as its over ten years old. Clean and clear title.
The body looks really solid in my opinion. the only noticeable minor body spot I see is a small rust spot behind the rear passenger wheel well on the very lower part. tough to see but there as its the size of a quarter or so. The chrome looks origina, its presentable and looks decent but there is some age showing. I do not want to over call it or under call it, watch the video and look at the pics at the end of it and call me with questions.563 568 1186
