1954 Chrysler New Yorker Newport Delux Additional Info:
The 2 door Chryslers body is in great shape with a great patina look. All stainless and trim is on the car. Small rust areas are located on the trunk floor, as shown in pictures.
The engine was removed in order to clean and paint the engine compartment. The HEMI was also cleaned, painted, gaskets replaced and reinstalled. The Chrysler comes with the 331 HEMI, converted to an HEI Distributor with Taylor wires. Also has Edelbrock 4 Barrel conversion and a later model fuel pump conversion. Engine runs excellent! Has original (Powerflite) transmission. Interior is decent and intact. Converted the starter to a 12 volt.
Car does have power steering
I have the radiator, driveshaft and parts to complete.
Car needs to be wired
Needs fuel tank
Needs brakes redone.
Needs exhaust
