1976 Chrysler Town & Country Additional Info:
1976 CHRYSLER TOWN & COUNTRY STATION WAGON, 'SURVIVOR' -- original paint, interior engine, transmission, rear end. Engine was rebuilt 10-years ago and has been driven approximately 6000 mile since. The wagon runs, drives and handles like a dream. We used this as a family vacation vehicle several times with plenty of room for 3 sons, car seats and all their gear for camping, etc. These large-platform wagons are gaining in popularity by the day as they were the 'SUVs' of a previous generation and highly-sought-after today. This one is in great 'driver quality' condition as it shows some wear from use as a family vehicle. The paint is nice with some chips & scratches as you'd expect. There are a few minor dents and dings but nothing that a PDR craftsman couldn't remove easily. The car rides on the factory original road wheels with newer tires. The wagon features power steering, power brakes, air conditioning (upgraded rotary compressor), manual windows * locks, 6-way power driver's side front split bench seat, upgraded audio system.
The original 400 cid V8 has been rebuilt with hydraulic lifters added along with aluminum pistons (.003 over), 8.5/1 compression for fuel tolerance, performance RV cam, Mopar performance intake w/ Edelbrock 4-bbl carburetor, remote double oil filter system, high-volume oil pump, Sanden AC compressor, rebuilt 3.23 rear end, remote oil & temp gauges, load leveling system added in rear compartment.
This car is a great highway cruiser and built for useing every day, is also a real attention-getter at the local cruise nights and car shows.
