1961 Chrysler 300 Series Additional Info:
I've been selling off excess automobila out of my museum, but one of the first times I'm selling a car on here. I'm clearing space as I have new items coming in. I hate letting a car go, but space has to be cleared.
For sale is a 1961 300G factory Cinnamon AC hardtop. In amazing condition, the pictures will show you what you need to see. The car was being restored by 2 brothers up in NY. Due to health issues they had to assemble the car before finishing the interior. I purchased it off of them. The interior presents ok, but it's not show ready. I'd call it high driver. I have replaced the steering wheel with a brand new wheel from D and D, looks amazing. The underside of the car looks as good as the top side. I displayed this car at Chrysler at Carlisle 3 years ago as part of my 300 letter car display. The ONLY reason I'm selling is for room. I don't have the exact numbers but this combo of cinnamon and ac makes it one of probably 20 made.
The downsides to the car: I'm not happy with the seat trim, I have new pieces coming which will be on the car before you pick it up. Same for the front turn signal bezels, the car will come with new bezels. The dash does not currently light up. I'm sure it is the original box and simply needs replacing. I don't have an extra on hand. We haven't put the miles on this like we have the other cars in the collection. We don't have a ton of road time on it since I bought it 4 year ago. Not long after this, other cars came into the collection that saw more road time. Part of the reason I'm willing to sell, these cars need to be driven, not sitting. I have a VERY realistic reserve on this car. I will be at a loss on the car, but cool new things are coming as I change the focus of the museum.
If you've made it this far, you know what this car is. I'm happy to answer any questions you may have. Anyone that purchases is welcome to a full tour of the museum :).
