1965 Chrysler 300 Series Convertible Additional Info:
This is a 1 of 1400 built 1965 Chrysler 300. It is a solid driver with a 440 not original to the car. The original 383 is sitting on an engine stand and available as well. I acquired the car from the second owner that has not driven it in several years. The 440 in the car was rebuilt right before the car was parked. It has less than 200 miles since the rebuild. It sounds like a beast and I would have no fear of driving it. The 3 speed transmission shifts smooth and looks to be original to the car.
This car is complete with all the stainless and trim. The only piece that I see missing is a headlight cover. The doors operate well and have no drop. The hood and trunk close properly like they did in 1965. This car needs a good home to someone that appreciates the Mopars of the 60's. There is some body rot in both quarters but it is not that extensive. The convertible top is works well but the canvas needs to be replaced. The interior is in need of some TLC as well.
