Vehicle Highlights:- Under 8,000 miles- Original Alaskan White paint- Turn-keyAccording to the 300 Club, this car was dispatched for dealer delivery on the 27th of September, 1960 making this an exceptionally early 300G. Indeed, there are several subtle differences between this car and later-built cars including the lack of the '300' on the rear deck lid which started to appear on cars built beyond the very early production models. Presented in its original Alaskan White, this car has received... an older sympathetic restoration that set out to preserve its originality. All of the sheet metal appears original with the exception of the rear quarters which were replaced at the time of restoration. The door gaps and rockers are excellent. The floors are excellent originals. All of the glass is original except for the windshield. The original 'air temp' air conditioning sticker still resides on the passenger side of the back window. The paint, chrome and other trim is all in excellent condition. Given the age of the restoration, the car has been preserved phenomenally well and could easily be shown at local and regional shows. The interior is beautiful and in excellent overall condition. The car does have a reproduction dash pad but is otherwise original. The comes from its long-term owners estate. He was an avid letter car collector owning many examples. He passed away several years ago and this car has undergone extensive work to bring it back to road-readiness. The brakes and fuel systems have been completely gone through. All of the fluids have been changed. The car has been extensively road tested and had travelled in excess of 500 miles since March 1st of this year ensuring total reliability for new ownership. This car is well known by both clubs as its curator for the last several decades was a proud collector of letter series cars and hence, very active in all club activities. This car is fast and reliable. The brakes are excellent and virtually all mechanical functions are in top working order.
