1960 Chrysler Windsor Additional Info:

1960 Chrysler Windsor 2dr Hardtop

I bought this car at auction in Nebraska. It had been in indoor storage for many years. It was pretty clean from a rust standpoint except for the trunk and right lower quarter. The floors were good, as were the fenders, doors, etc. The collector, had long ago saved the trunk and quarter from a parts car, which I have has installed. The underside, roof and firewall have been painted, and the windshield and backglass have been installed.

The front suspension is rebuilt, but not adjusted or aligned yet.

The original tall deck 383 was stuck but not broken. It has been rebuilt by a local Mopar builder. The original transmission has been rebuilt by Don’s transmission in Denver. The car has not yet been started. No exhaust.

The dash has been removed and disassembled for painting. Dash and all interior window trim have been repainted a sort of gold color, matched to a sample inside the glove box. There are some blemishes in the paint of pieces that have been unwrapped. I have 3 complete dashboards and the original disassembled dash. The car comes with the disassembled dash and one complete spare. The doorpanels have been redone by SMS, and I have the material, matching original, to recover the seats.

There is a matched set of Ford wheels on the car now, with good matched roller tires. I have a set of original 14 inch Chrysler wheels that have been powdercoated black.

All of the stainless side trim has been straightened and polished, ready to install. Bumpers are good driver quality and are not on the car. Fenders and hood are just set on the car, not bolted. Inner fenders are freshly powder coated black, and not on the car yet.

I have taken another car apart so have many extra parts that will go with the car.

Car must be removed in the first 2 weeks of January.
