This is a very special car and I hate selling it. I bought it as a surprise for my wife about 5 years ago but she no longer drives and I have lost my inside parking space for it.
The car is special because it was purchased by Philip Cross of Crosstown Motors in NH and used by him from 1986 to 2006. He would ship it to Florida during NH Winters and otherwise kept it in the showroom. I'm only the 2nd owner.
It is mostly original and was one of 521 Woodie convertibles made the final year of the K Body. It is doubtful many have survived. It was fully equipped including the SDC European Handling Package. I have the original sleeve that fits over the visor explaining the top lowering procedure, the Certificate of Origin and the original window sticker which shows the retail pprice for this car in 1986 was $18,678.00 with destination charge.
The car is in amazing good condition considering it is 31 years old. The leather is still soft and supple as when new. Everything works as it should. There is no rust on the car. The white-wall tires are about 20 years old but look like they are brand new. Since we never drove on the interstate we weren't concerned about their age.
I know the lucky, new owner will enjoy driving this car as much as we did but prepare yourself for the never ending thumbs up and positive comments about the car.
