Very original and well-optioned 1966 Chrysler 300 with 70k original miles (per previous owner). Power steering, power brakes, power windows and power seat. It also had the Light Sentinel, an automatic headlight system. For a 50 year old unrestored car, it's in very good condition.
I will try to describe as accuracy as possible. However, buyer is purchasing as is. If questions, please contact me. I'm happy to work with an inspector if buyer engages one.
Drivetrain: 440 motor (buyer to confirm) that runs good. Doesn't smoke or have any unusual noises. No visible leaks. Transmission functions well but shifts a little hard. Great acceleration from the 440.
Body: No visible rust issues. As the pictures show, overall excellent body. One small scrape on right front fender (see pic). Paint appears to be original and is faded in many areas. The vinyl top is in good overall condition. One small hole in vinyl along the drip rail (see pic).
Interior: Dash in good condition. Bucket seats show wear. Carpet is worn and needs replaced. Some of the chrome pieces are pitted and have surface rust. Rear seats look good. Drivers door panel is worn. Contact me for more interior pics, I have a lot available.
Other: one chip in windshield. Only driver power window is functioning -- I assume bad switches on the others. Power seat works well. Radio works. Good heater. No A/C. Good brakes. Good steering and suspension. Good tires and hubcaps. Clean Washington title.
This is a beautiful cruiser that anyone would be proud to drive. It drives nicely and has a low rumble sound from the big 440! Amazing lines and design character. You want this car! Low, Low Reserve!
