1970 Chevrolet Corvette LT-1 Convertable Additional Info:
1970 Chevy Corvette LT-1 Stingray Convertible Roadster, Very Rare, estimated less than 400 built. This is a factory documented original LT-1 car. The engine is a re-stamped replacement block, but the date code is not correct. (a correct casting and block has been located.) Car has about 1K miles on a rebuilt 355 with high compression pistons and 2.02 heads. Performance is awesome thru the close ratio M-21 4 speed and 4.11 gears. Frame is very solid, suspension rebuilt, vacuum system works, power windows & fiber optics work. Paint has one small chip behind drivers seat otherwise mint. Radio does not work, temp & fuel gauge work others do not. E-Brake needs adjustment. Car still needs a little TLC, engine runs on.
I have receipts for $15K from previous owner. I bought car in 2001 and also have $26K receipts for on body restoratio, repairs and paint. Car has mostly been sitting around and only driven around town a few times a year.
