1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu Additional Info:
I have owned this car for 24 years. I purchased it in 1992. Prior owner had it sitting for 10 years. I only had it on the road for 2 years. Although I always kept insurance on it and road ready. It was always garaged and NEVER left out in the elements. My plan was to have it painted and finished off. But life changed and before I knew it I was living down a 20 mile dirt road. Which put a huge hold on any of the work and paint that I had planned for her. Now, fast forward ten years, which brings me to the here and now. So I've decided that it was time for someone else to get her where she belonged to be cosmetically and otherwise. The car has a couple of what I consider "minor" issues. The left rear lower quarter panel does have some rust, the trunk had been previously patched (not that bad) and there maybe a few other rust (small) spots that I have missed. But all in all she is an amazingly solid car. A lot of the chrome is off but I have everything. The interior door panels are off as well, but I also have them. The carpet is out, but I have a brand new one. Like I said ....was going to have it painted, etc. I did put in a newer front end a couple of years back. That is a polygraphite front end. Right now the motor in it is a 1967 327 Corvette Motor (Ran the numbers) and this car will also come with the original 283 MATCHING NUMBERS. Which needs to be rebuilt. Motor runs great. I also had the seats reupholstered to the original specs down the the coloredstitching of the original upholstery. Right now only the front seats are in it but I do have the back seat. Since my first ad, I have put the original 60's / 70's CRAGAR Aluminum Slotted Mags back on and have also taken much better pictures for everyone to be able to appreciate this car asaccuratelyas possible. The mileage on the body and on the original 283 are the 58,691. miles. It is a two speedpower glideand the motor numbers on the 283 verify this as well. On the 327, it has an Holly four barrel Carburetor and the manifold is an Edlebrock. I've also recently replaced the alternator.
Please, only VERY SERIOUS Bidders. Also, if anyone has any questions for me, e-mail me at FrontRange6771@yahoo.com. I have had problems in the past with e-bay and not getting the questions through the ebay system.
