1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Additional Info:

This 1957 150 completed it's frame-off restoration in 2016. It retains all of the 57's classic body and interior styling while adding all of the comfort and safety "must haves" for today’s driving. Everything in this car haseither been replaced or restored to new.

The build started with a very solid California body. With the exception ofa new trunk pan it is all rust free OEM sheet metal. Original quarters, original rockers, original floors and doors.

Thesemi-glossblack and silver 2 two tone body was installed on a powder coated chassis and suspension. Everything on the suspension was replaced; bushings, bearings, seals, etc.. Updated with new CPP 2" drop spindles, Posie 3" lowering leaf springs and KYB shocks. Front 1" sway bar. New front stock GM disc brake conversion/new rear drums, new master cylinder with 8" booster, new brake lines and all new emergency brake hardware. New fuel system from filler cap to fuel filter, 16 gal tank, fuel pump and lines.

Professionally rebuilt327, Rochester 4bbl, Edelbrock intake manifold, mild cam, Pertronix Electronic Ignition, Griffin aluminum radiator, 2 1/2 inch stainless steel exhaust (sounds great). Muncie M21 4 speed with new Hurst floor shifter and new clutch. Rebuilt stock rear end with 308's (cruises 70 mph @ 3000 rpm).

New electrical system; American Autowire harness, alternator, starter, battery, gauges, speedometer, custom tachometer,Raingear 2 speed windshield wipers, halogen headlights, tailigihts, grill bar lights.

The black interior is newly upholstered. It features a foundation of dynamat floors, new seat foam front and rear, new arm rests and removable drink holders/armrests front and rear. All new tinted glass with new door/trunk seals and cat whiskers. Just installed an Old Air under dash a/c unit that blows freezing cold air. Kenwood stereo with AM/FM, CD, USB, Bluetooth and 4 speakers. Reduced diameter 15" Steering wheel (hard to find original 150 18" steering wheel and horn button come with the car), updated stock steering column goes to a 500 series power steering box, seat belts front and rear.

All of the chrome has been either re-plated or replaced with new. The stainless trim is original to the car and required no repairs but was polished prior to being reinstalled.

Great stance enhanced by Rocket Racing Wheels (painted centers match car) and BF Goodrich G-Force Comp 2 tires. Front 17x7 with 225/17/R45, Rear 18x9 with 255/18/R45.

I have a clean California title with current tags and a 4 inch stack of receipts in hand. The car has been sorted. Test miles include a round trip drive from Los Angeles to Reno to attend Hot August Nights. It completed the 1100 mile trip acrossthe desert in August to 7000 ft. in the Sierras and back without missing a beatwhile getting 15 mpg.

There you have it - a classic carthat is essentially new, safe and reliable. Equipped with power disc brakes, power steering, A/C, modern windshield wipers, stereo, new DOT safety glass, seat belts and new tires. PLUS the car is incredibly fun to drive.
