1982 Corvette EC

1982 Chevrolet Corvette Additional Info:

This is my 82 Corvette that I've owned approx. 6 years. I am the 2nd owner and have babied the car. I have done numerous items so I will run down the list.All of these items have been replaced.Dual exhaust w/ Magnaflow mufflers, rear composite leaf spring, Bilstein HD shocks. Wilwood brakes, brake booster and M/C.
On the engine side; Edelbrock E-Street heads, Edlebrock water pump, DCS intake w/ 2" ported throttle bodies, Comp 260 cam and roller tip rockers. Jet chip. Aluminum radiator, N.O.S. AC Delco heater core. Long block is original and runs great, this CFI motor will surprise you!. Transmission is still original and has been serviced. There is a slight leak coming from the gear selector shaft. I bought the seal tool installer but can't get to it. Radiator is aluminum and never coolant temps never gets hot. Fuel pump is from a 85 Vette and have a DCS fuel pressure gauge running 14 psi where these motors like to be.
The interior is in excellent condition, so many items have been replaced and everything works perfectly. Speedometer was upgraded to 140mph using the 82 font colors. Gauge lighting is LED. The wiper delay has been upgraded to a electronic unit. Stero and speakers were upgraded with quality components. Car originally came with a fixed mast antenna but I installed a N.O.S. GM power antenna. Power window harnesses in the doors along with the anti-theft harness replaced. Drivers door window regulator has been replaced. Both door glass has been removed and tracks cleaned and re-lubed. New window seals installed. All gauge bezels replaced. Seat and door panels were replaced before I bought the car and are in EC. Dash is in EC. Both power lock actuators replaced.
The exterior is in excellent condition as well. I did have the rear bumper cover resprayed because I scratched the corner taking the garbage can out of the garage. Headlights were upgraded to electric with Hella low beams and LED bulbs. Tires are new including the spare. Front nose is fiberglass. All weatherstrip has been replaced and fit great. Upper windshield corner chrome pieces replaced with N.O.S. Windshield moldings fit great. I do have the cold air induction out of the hood for constant airflow and is in EC and works great. I also removed the seal that attaches to the hood because the air cleaner lids were deforming them due to the slight rise from the intake.
This car drives and rides great, she's my baby but unfortunately she has to go. I have a huge folder of receipts of everything I have ever done. I also have part of the original build sheet off the gas tank and the other half is still there but can't get to it. I also had the Corvette Museum send me the original window sticker. I am a non smoker and the only person allowed in the car was my wife and was picky about how she would get in. I know I'm bad but this is how I feel about the car.
