1965 Chevrolet Chevelle Additional Info:

• VERY healthy 496 cu in Big Block Stroker motor (professionally built)

• Over $7,000 in receipts JUST for the 496 and associated components

• TH350 automatic transmission rebuilt with all B&M parts + 3500RPM stall convertor

• 10 bolt rear axle with Auburn POSI unit and Richmond4:10gears & aftermarket 4 link bars (adjustable w/ Polyurethane bushings)

• GM front disc brakes

• Rebuilt front end with Polyurethane bushings

• All braided stainless fuel system with Holley race pump

• Flowmaster exhaust

• Competition Engineering shocks front/rear

• 16 gallon fuel cell with fuel gauge

• MSD ignition system

• Holley carb with aftermarket main body and metering blocks

• MSD starter

• Large aluminum radiator

• Underside / frame nice and solid and painted

• Comfortable seats with power on the driver’s sid

This car needs nothing to be driven and enjoyed, but it does need a few minor things to finish it off completely…..They are:

• Headliner (bows are there, just needs a headliner installed

• Windshield wiper motor is removed, but everything is there

• Needs weather stripping put on doors and trunk lid

MOTOR:

496 with Scat forged crank and rods with 7/16” bolts / Herbert 0.673” – 0.673” – 0.309” – 0.317” – 108 LC – 104 CL solid roller cam / Open chamber heads with larger stainless valves installed / forged 11.3:1 pistons / Weiand intake / custom Holley carb / Hooker headers / aluminum roller rockers / all ARP fasteners / MSD ignition system / MSD high torque starter – never dyno’ed or raced, but pulls like a freight train…..

TRANSMISSION:

Turbo 350 with all new B&M performance internals & 3500RPM Proglide torque convertor

REAREND:

10 bolt with Auburn POSI unit and Richmond4:10gears turning M/T 28X12.5 ET Street tires

Car has driveshaft safety loop / fuel cell / etc., and would make an excellent bracket car if you just added a rollcage and safety harness.You could use a bolt-in cage so that it could be easily removed in the future.
