1984 Chevrolet Corvette Additional Info:
Selling the 1984 'Vette because we are running out of room at the house! She's a Z51 and has Toyo's all around. 8.5in wide at the front, and 9.5in at the rear. This car is unbelievably naughty when it comes to handling and cornering.
Exterior is in phenomenal condition for its age. On the outside of the vehicle there are only two pieces of damage; a small chip on the front edge of the passenger door, and a small area on the front bumper where touch-up paint was used attempting to repair a scratch (both photoed). The rest of the exterior is in mint shape. The interior is in good condition regarding the trunk, passenger, and dashboard/cluster area, but the drivers seat and floor liner are a bit haggard (see photos). Digital cluster works 100%, as do the flip-up lights. The car is also very mechanically sound. Below is a list of receipted work done in the past two years:
- All 4 wheel hub assemblies w/ bearings
- Both rear outer U-Joints
- Full Turbo cat-back exhaust
- Vacuum hoses
- Tourqe converter
- FULL Transmission rebuild
- Shift kit rebuild
Also has fresh pads, got a tune-up, new battery, and valve covers. However, those repairs are un-receipted. Basically, we have gotten the car to a point where it drives fantastically, and is reliable. Overall, we have put a little under $8k into the car(and obviously don't expect to recover all of that with the sale) and hate to see it go when we had plans to finish her all up. We are really hoping this goes to someone who will finish her up and love the car like we did.
The car was in a minor fender-bender last year, and I can provide photos of the original damage and documentation of the performed repairs upon request. The damage was only cosmetic has been fixed PROPERLY and is indistinguishable from any other Vette (paint matches perfectly, everything is still in line, body has no ripples or dents, etc).
