1962 Chevrolet C-10 LWB Fleetside 4WD Truck
V-8, 4 on the floor, original factory propane and gas dual-fuel set up.
Runs and drives well. P.O. was in the process of changing the wiring harness before he died. The brake lights and turn signals still need to be hooked up. A big new stereo and amp is present, but the hookup needs to be completed. The clutch slave cylinder leaks a little.
This is a Wyoming vehicle, and while very solid does have the usual rust problems in the rear cab corners and trailing edge of the fenders. Fix it right and paint it, or just enjoy the patina and rat rod nature of the beast! It is a mild custom. Actual mileage unknown.
The story which came with it is that about 1000 of these 4x4 dual fuel trucks were made in ’62 and they were supplied to land management agencies. There probably aren’t many originals left.
Pick up in eastern Idaho, visit the national parks! Grand Teton & Yellowstone are close by.
The vehicle drives Ok but should be freshened up a bunch before it goes on a long trip. Bring your trailer or have it shipped. It will load up easily. It is a TALL vehicle.
I am doing the internet work for my neighbor, Dave. You will be paying Dave for the truck, and he will have a clean, fresh Idaho title in return.
