Number One prototype Cheverra Camaro built by Cars & Concepts for the 24 Hour Daytona Race. One of three in existence. Comes with the Matchbox AMT Snapfit model of this one-off car. Also comes with 50 original build pictures from 1979 at Cars & Concepts. Although the car was registered in Daytona, it did not run the race due to engine malfunction. The car now has a fresh 383 cubic inch built by Dart manufacturer in Michigan in 1992 with less than 500 miles.This Cheverra Camaro has an original Herb Adams race suspension with a Nascar equipped Ford rear axel with Daytona hubs, Daytona pinion carrier, 411 Richmond gears with all 4 wheel Nascar Hurst Airheart disc breaks. It has a 15 gallon 1979 Nascar style fuel system.This Cheverra Camaro has the original race seats. The drivers seat has a SFI up to date 5 point harness by G-FORCE. It has headlights, turn signals, break lights, and a license plate light for street driving.The car runs and drives straight and is track ready. It has a full roll cage and has never been wrecked.The exterior has no rust with the worn original paint. This car has been kept outdoors and indoors and has race patina.This rare Stage 3 Camaro is must have for the Camaro collector.
