- This For auction is a 1951 Chevrolet Bel-Aire/Hardtop convertible. This was a total ground-up custom build by myself. The car has NO rust, very dependable and comfortable to drive. The 5.3 all aluminum modified engine is now basically equal to a 6.2 backed by a 4L60E tranny pushing power to a 8.8 Ford Posi rear end. The car had a TCI 2" drop front clip with power steering and disc brakes installed. The two piece windshield was replaced with a one piece. Some of the other improvements are: Angel Eyes halogen headlights, a synthetic leather interior, front electric windows, a mahogany steering wheel, cold A/C, remote locks, AM/FM/CD/Bluetooth touch screen stereo and amp with a remote, power antenna, third brake light, upholstered trunk, Magna-Flow exhaust system, Hooker Headers, and much more. All of the receipts, photos of build, manuals, build books included.
