1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Additional Info:
1957 Chevy 2 door hardtop Belair with power pack-Ok here is what I know about the car-Its a true Belair and as far as I can tell and what I was told it is matching #-I know its a 283 with the 4 barrel and dual exhaust-and turbo glide trans. The car original came from Arizona and texas and made its way up here around 2009-The texas stickers are still on the windshield as is the Arizona registration. The car is an original Surf Green car-The car appears to have been painted at some point in its life and is painted in its original surf green. The interior has never been out of the car and is all original. And is in very nice shape-Please see the pics-The front seat is starting to fray a bit-But all in all I would say its nice-especially considering its the original from 57-It has a newer aftermarket radio with ipod jack and sounds decent-The odometer shows 106,000 and from looking I would think its about right at 106k-The exterior is very straight and appears to be an older paint job and I have no idea when it was done-I would say a nice driver quality paint job-I would say it would pop a lot better with a buff and if it doesn't sell I have an appointment at the end of the month to have it buffed out at a bodyshop--Looking at the chrome and stainless I would say very nice shape-the rear bumper is starting to show some age-But the front bumper and all stainless is very nice. The car has a couple of chips here and there. Like I said its an older restoration-I would assume it was a body on resto. Looking at the underside of the car its really quite nice-A little dirty and greasy but I couldn't find any patch work or anything like that-All bodymounts and frame and floor pans are excellent and I could not find any signs of previous repairs or rust-It shows that the car spent most of its life in Arizona and Texas-I do have the original steel wheels and chrome spinner hub caps and wide whites-they will go with the car--All in all I would say a very strong driver quality car with all the possibility to take it to the next level-Never modified or messed with-Its just a nice car-I have driven it quite a bit this summer myself-It has the power drum brakes but no power steering. All the lights work as they should-It will require a new wiper switch. It just sticks-the wipers work fine but needs a switch-Even the dome light works-The car is very quiet-has a newer dual exhaust-not sure what kind of mufflers but the are very quiet with a low rumble. -I really love this car-especially the surf green-and its a true surf green car-Please feel free to come and inspect the car-I'm not giving it away as I really do enjoy driving it-But I do have a very reasonable reserve on the car and I would say its priced much lower than any 57 2 door hardtop on ebay!!!!!-Please come see the car-Now for the not so fun stuff--I have a NY dealers license and this car is being sold through my dealership-So NY residents will have to pay that pesky sales tax. Any other state will be required to register it in your state and pay your states sales tax. The car is being sold as is where is--it is a 1957!!!-I can hold the car in storage for awhile until shipping can be arranged. I have sold many many muscle cars on e-bay so please check my feedback-its 100% for a reason. -The car must be paid for within 7 days of the end of the auction and the car will not be released until all funds have cleared my bank. -Please come and view this car -Its a nice driver quality car that gets looks and thumbs up everywhere it goes-The only reason we are selling this car is I have the opportunity to buy a 57 Convertible-or I would be keeping this car for myself-My kids love the car!!!

I have been told from a e-bay member that the car may have a powerglide not a turboglide trans-I'm no trans expert from the 1950's---I did put the car on a lift and took down the casting #'s off the transmission-and these are all the #'s off the trans-So you can do your due diligence ---F1660871924 with either a 3 or 8 as the last digitgm1232248gm10670814Those are all the #'s off the tranny--any info you may have would be greatly appreciated--

I have had several questions about the paint on the car-The car has an excellent shine to it-and is very nice-But it is not a trailer queen-It is very nice driver quality-Pictures speak for themselves-it has a few chips in it--not many-its just an older restoration-
