1962 Chevrolet Impala SS Additional Info:

This is a true ss car. I bought the car in 1998. It has 409/409 period correct date block and heads. All new date coded glass. All original body panels and floor pans. It took 5 years to restore this car. Every nut and bolt been restored or replaced. Have dyno sheet on engine. I spent over 75k on this car. it is 409/409 horsepower. every body panel, all stainless and pans are original. it has all new date coded tinted glass. every part on this car that's dated is within 2 months. has 3814690 heads. block casting 3788068.date code on block is B262.It is 030 over . crank is .010,010. has correct wide ratio 2:56 first gear transmission with 3:36 p case rear end. every nut and bolt either restored or replaced. correct number 2x4 carbs. intake, generator, dist., pulleys, exhaust manifoldsand bell housing. I have no documentation on car,it was a completeframe off. exhaust manifolds numbers are 3814682 and 3814683. trim tags on carbs are 3361s and 3362s. Bell housing is 3779553. Transmission is correct BW alum t10 wide ratio with 2.56 first gear which matches 3.36 P case posi rear end. I think date code on trans either late april or may. all 3 case pieces match. it has 3/8 fuel lines. Selling because of health issues.
