1951 Chevrolet Other Pickups Additional Info:
This is my project 51 Chevy 5 window 3100 short bed. It sits on a 93 s10 chassis with 4-link, monster notch in rear and air bags all around. Almost lays frame when dropped and running boards sit about a half inch from the floor. Rear fenders have been narrowed two inches and running boards have been tucked in to match rear fenders and also extended to match the curve of the front fenders. Also, hood has been shaved along with drip rails removed. Motor is a 4.3L V6 that is carb'd, not fuel injection and backed by a 700R4 trans. It's also set up for power steering and column shift. All the hard work has been done and in just a short time, this truck could be on the road. I have almost everything to finish the truck, plus replacement windshield glass, back glass and corner glass. I do have the title in hand. I have lost interest in this project and want to move on to something else. Finished, this truck would bring a pretty good chunk of change. That being said, I have set my reserve at an average price for a stock truck that needs restoration. Any questions, let me know. Thanks for looking.
