1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Additional Info:
This is a unmolested and unrestored SS 454 with the two build sheets and is ready for a new owner. If you want a clone or modified SS 454 Chevelle, this is not for you. This is a survivor not a restoration. Look at the image of the build sheet to understand the options. The car options matchthe build sheet, down to the Atlanta Monte Carlo Tach.swap. #938. A well documented factory substitute. This car runs and drives well. The brakes are fresh and stop good. New hoses, pads and shoes, master cylinder and wheel cylinders. I recored the radiator last year with a correct 4 core brass core, using the factory tanks with tags. $450 The 454 in it looks stock, but sounds like it has a larger cam. It is very strong. It was in the car when I bought it 14 years ago, so don't know what's in it. I built a number matching 454 that comes with the car. It's on an engine stand. It is 100% correct. Correct Cam lifters and springs from Crane Cams, Correct date code and model heads; Correct exhaust manifolds. Castings and date codes are correct. I decked the block and stamped the block with Vin number. I never installed it because the 454 in it looks and runs well. I will not install it, but it comes with the car. It comes with the original 8 track radio loose. I have no idea if it works, but looks great.. This car has a Fla title. It has a few minor issues. Gas level gauge started pegged high, prob from being a garage queen. The clock never worked. It does not have correct tires, battery or exhaust resonators. Car has a few small dents and dings from use. I have a folder with the receipts and other paper I have accumulated in 14 years.
The winning buyer, must wire a 5 % nonrefundable partial payment to my back account within 48 hrs. The point being, I don't want to deal with tire kickers and flakes and if you win and back out, this is the bad ebay user fee. Ask your questions before you bid. The car will not leave my property without a cleared full payment. Cash is best, if you are in a hurry. You are also 100% responsible for shipping from my house.
