1986 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 IROC Additional Info:

1986 CAMARO IROC Z28"California Car"
As pictured, vintage 1986 Camaro Iroc Z28. This car is from California and has a clear CA pink slip. This is not a rusted out Camaro like most 30 year old cars found in the Midwest. I've driven the car short distances only due to the brakes being weak. Engine sounds nice and tranny shifts like it should. It drove straight and true and handled well. Peppy little Z28. A little belt squeak at start up when cold. No smoke noted at startup, even after long periods of sitting. Brakes work, but are soft and pull to the right due to brake system leak. The photos show the car as it sits, it was not detailed or polished. It needs a cleaning. Interior in very nice shape. Expensive chrome wheels with extensions. Nice B&M shifter upgrade. Tires are good and hold air. Body as shown in photos. Odometer reads 25k, but car is mileage exempt in Wisconsin. Glass is good. It's an AC car, but belt is off compressor, but heat does work. Speedometer and odometer do not work. Radio did not work. Power windows and locks do work. Toggle switched electric fan. I did not try the emergency brake. I do believe the car has been repainted once. I'm selling this as a complete project car that will start, idle, run, drive and stop. I have not tested every single component on the car, the new owner will need to go through the car. A rare chance to get a California car at a reasonable price.
I am required by Wisconsin law to be a registered dealer so you will need to complete all forms required by the state prior to delivery. If you are a Wisconsin resident, you will need to pay all title fees and sales tax as well. Out of state buyers will receive the clear title. Out of state buyers will pay tax and fees required in your home state. If you are a Wisconsin resident, I'll send the title in for you as/if required by law. All buyers will pay a $195 dealer service fee in addition to the purchase price.
A $500 non-refundable deposit is due immediately at the conclusion of the auction. Balance is due no later than 7 calendar days after auction end. Car needs to be picked up within 14 days of auction end or storage fees of $10 daily will commence on the 15th day. Car will be picked up in Dalton WI at a commercial location. I sometimes use uShip to transport vehicles. This car comes with no warranty, express or implied. I do state the car will start, drive and stop under its owner power but I would not recommend driving it any distance due to the brakes. If you have any questions, please ask before bidding.
