Up for auction is a 1966 Chevy Nova II, two door hardtop. This is a project that I purchased a few years back with the intentions on completing. Well, that hasn't happened and isn't going to happen for me as I have lost my storage building. Anyway, here's the scoop. The car sits pretty much as I purchased it. It has a newer Vortec 350 V8 with a Turbo 350 behind it. The car was running but not driveable when I bought it, however it is currently not running.We started to pull the drivetrain to detail and paint the engine compartment and that's where the project ended. The rear end that is in the car is a basic 10 bolt. It is not the original rear as it appears that it is too narrow for the car. I'm not sure if the previous owner was going to mini tub it or something but the rear end is loosely bolted under the car. Enough to roll it around and that's it. The car came with 2" aluminum spacers behind the wheels to make them fit the car. The car has not been cut up at all.
The interior of the car is very nice. New factory correct bucket seats with new covers as well as new covers on the rear seat. Factory automatic shifter with factory center console. New door panels, newer carpet and headliner.
The body is decent with no visible rust. Please look at the pictures and judge for yourself. The car is not perfect but is a great start. It will need bodywork and paint to be a show car.The rally wheels that are pictured on the car do not go with it. I willbe putting a different set of steel wheels on it. I have a clear title in my name. US buyers only.
