1962 Chevrolet Nova CHEVY II Additional Info:
I'm selling my 1962 Chevrolet Nova Pro Street 2 door coupe. I have owned the car for several years and have had a lot of fun street driving it and taking it to local car shows. I've never drag raced this car myself. I bought it here on ebay from a nice gentleman in Georgia who took it in on trade, put a rebuilt motor in it by an engine shop, and repainted the whole car. Prior it was a drag car.
MOTOR: 454 BBC bored .010 over with iron heads, aluminum intake, headers, 750 cfm Holley carb, electric driven water pump, HEI distributor, and COMP cams 555 intake and 555 exhaust. The motor was freshly rebuilt before I bought the car and I do have some paperwork I got with it, but it was never dyno'd...... it'd gues it to be around 525hp? is realistic. Motor has a front engine plate, aluminum radiator, and electric fan.
TRANSMISSION: Is a TH350 with shift kit and manual valve body and a 2000 street stahl converter.
RR END: Is a ford 9" with 4.10 gears and a spool with drum brakes and 4 link suspension.
FR END: Has an aftermarket adjustable upper control arm kit with mustang 2 manual rack and pinion steering and disc brakes.
BODY: Hood is a dzus fastened fiberglass hood, rear deck lid is steel, along with the rest of the car. The rear back-half section is fully tubbed and sheeted with aluminum that is powdercoated black. The roll cage is currently a 6 point.(the door bars were removed by the previous owner that made it an 8 point) Gas tank and battery are mounted in the trunk.
PAINT: Is "Driver Quality" and shines up nice. There are a couple blemishes and rock chips.(please see pictures I took of the 3 worst ones and also pointed out in the video)
GLASS: Is all factory style glass that's in good shape with no cracks. All the windows are tinted except for the windshield.
INTERIOR: The bucket seats are cloth and in good shape. The carpet is in good shape. The headliner is in good shape, but does have a small hole the size of a nickel. Standard gauges and tach.(speedo is off and there is No gas gauge) B&M shifter. No radio(has factory radio delete plate) Car does have lap belts.
TIRES: Rears are 31x18.50x15 Mickey Thompson sportsmans and fronts are 165/15 radials.
WHEELS: Are WELD RACING drag stars, rears are 15X15 and fronts are 15x3.5
This car has been my "Old Faithful" and has always started and worked well. I've described it to the best of my knowledge, both good and bad.
