1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Additional Info:

It's has 44k original documented miles and all matching numbers. Just needs to be painted, as paint is cracking. Was repainted in 1981.Just had all new clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing and all new synchro in trans over the winter. NADA says it's worth 109,000. That's painted and perfect. One did sell at Barrett Jackson for $110,000, that was not matching #'s, was triple black same as mine, but not as well equipped and not original miles, or pro-tector plate. But the car was painted and ready. This is the right car. Only 3200 true SS convertibles made in 1967. I have the pro-tector plate and all original owners manuals and warranty books. The transmission is the original m21 4speed and the original 4:10 Posi rear end. As well as the original 396/350hp engine. The car has no dents, dings,or scratches, and has never been hit. Has not seen rain in 40 years, I am the third owner. Just needs paint and a back plastic window, the car runs and drives like new, also has new bias ply red line tires.Everything works as it should, no disappointments here at all. I bought it from a friend of mine almost three years ago, he owned for 38 years and he bought it from the original owner. It was purchased in the fall of 1966 from Roger Holler Chevrolet in Winter Park Florida. I have the documents for that sale. This car is the most sought after muscle car of this era, very rare to find one in this original condition. Very rare to find an true 138 SS car period, much less one like this. All chrome is perfect and trim is all correct and in great shape. The glass is all perfect. Interior is in excellent shape with no tears or rips or wear spots. Never been smoked in. Heater works well as does all electrical. Car is not perfect but all original other than the carburetor has been replaced, intake is stock as well as the exhaust. Does have mild cam, and when restored had Chevelle wagon coil springs installed, thats why it sits a little taller. Restored in 1981 and has only 6500 miles since, the inside of fender wells, door jambs, and under hood look like new.
