BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
this trucks been in Az pretty much its whole life
about the most rust and rot free un restored 2wd Blazer
you can probably find for the low reserve we are selling it for.
Az has been hard on the plastic and interior, but the body is
pretty amazing for its age. It did sit for about a yr but you hop in
it and it fires right up. Ive driven it around some and brakes etc
all work fine. But the motor has an obvious miss and under hard
acceleration it blows black smoke. It has a noticable miss too, but
not sure if its carb, timing related or something else ?? Youd want
to address that issue before making it a daily driver Im sure.
But these motors are so basic I cant imagine it being too costly to
fix or repair that issue.
It does have factory AC, PS and PDB up front.

These cars are getting harder to find esp in this condition
that are still affordable to most buyers.

DRIVETRAIN: this truck/ suv has the original 350 4v motor matted to
a 3 spd auto trans. Totally original and unmolested drivetrain too.
Just been a good family vehicle for many yrs then parked and replaced
with a newer SUV a few yrs ago. Again, motor runs and drives, but under
hard acceleration, there is black smoke and power seems off a little.
And theres a miss. Timing or carb would be the first thing Id look at.
Could it need a valve job ? possibly sure. But not blue smoke or anything
like that.

INTERIOR: take a look at the pics, the interior of this car is pretty well
worn out and probably the first thing you would want to repair. Fix the
interior and take care of all the mechanics and drive it the way it is.
Some interior pieces missing like door panels etc, but it does have cool
bucket seats and 2nd row seats that fold down too. Window tint is old old
and bubbling off. It will eventually want to be all redone inside.

EXTERIOR:the body pretty straight for its age, and I think most of the paint
could be original. Only found rot on two spots (see pics) but this is a 90%
rust FREE AZ desert survivor. Most of the trim all there, think I saw a few pcs's
missing. Nothing major at all. Glass all good, but windshield has a good size smack.
Windows and doors all work .
Rust is pretty mild and the rot anywhere is minimal too

SUSPENSION:the suspension looks normal from what I can see .. but old.
We didnt hear any weird noises or clunks while moving around to the store.
Works okay as is, but Im sure will need repairs soon due to ite age.
the RARE 2WD platform makes for some cool potential builds in this Blazers
future !!
Minimal rust under the car, making taking this car apart, almost a breeze !!

and even if you have to pay shipping to your area, it still beats
paying a body shop to hopefully fix a rusty car for weeks on end.
Having as much as the original steel on a restored car these days
speaks volumes.
Also, if you buy a car thats been "restored", who knows what sort
of surprises are hidden under new paint or thick undercoating.
People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs are
fast, for a quick buck and quality suffers.
