This auction is for a 1976 Chevy Vega - Hatchback that I purchased with the plans of making a street car out of it. health issues are preventing me fromfollowing through with restoration, so I am selling it as a rolling chassis. It has no motor or transmission but the body is straight and in excellent shape. OutsideBody has no areas of major rust that I can see and the floor pan is in great shape. The undercarriage has normal surface rust for its age. It has been covered and kept in a building for the last 4 years since I have had it. All glass in good shape, it has the dash, front seats and has the original rims and tires on it.
This car would be a great project car and would be a beauty if finished! It would be a quick car with a 350 stroked out to a 383!
In the past I had a friend who had a Vega with a built 396 and it was very quick due to the light weight of a Vega.
