1966 Chevrolet Impala convertible Additional Info:
Laser straight, original metal, one respray, numbers matching, protect-plate, great driver, 1966 Convertible Impala custom. Impala Custom cars were sold to bankers to haul their boats in style in 1966. Car came with 327 double hump heads, 12 bolt rear end, power steering, power brakes. Car no longer has the power glide, replaced with a 350 turbo. Brakes upgraded to power disc. The motor was just rebuilt, for the first time. Bored 30 over and forged pistons installed, cam shaft of 275 horse power used. Car performs better than new with new dual exhaust, new disc brakes, tires, aluminum radiator to keep it cool. The seats were padded and covered to give great comfort for cruises, power top motor is new and performs as it should. Car presents well but has some rust cropping up on the original sheet metal which is shown in the pictures. This car is like a Gas Monkey car that was refreshed to drive and enjoy with the body left alon, as it presents well and is as straight as John Wayne. Great classic, turn key enjoyment at a fraction of the full blown show cars that you stare at instead of enjoy. You will not find a straighter 50 years old big car. Bumpers have no dings or donks. Reserve set at reasonable price so BID BABY BID! This is a serious auction for serious buyers. 1000.00 deposit due at auctions end. GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS!! questions will be answered quickly and accurately. Good Luck!!
