You can't go wrong with a handsome older pickup in traditional colors, but this 1964 Chevrolet C10 is actually a wolf in sheep's clothing. After all, those side pipes aren't just there for show. This one is packing a ZZ4 crate motor that will put a hurt on just about anything else you run up against on the street. From the outside this one looks like it's a pickup that has been taken care of for nearly half a century. But look a little closer, and you begin to see how much extra work went into keeping this one great. For starters, the red and white two-tone paint has a shimmer that was never this good when it left Chevy's factory. The exceptionally straight body is the result of meticulous labor to correct decades of being a workhorse. The real wood truck bed is complete, and the lumber looks ready to get to work. It even has the cool side-mounted spare tire. You might just think that this is a great old pickup meant for the slow lane. And others might, too, if they don't pick up on subtle hints like the larger rubber on the matching rally wheels and the side pipes. If all you did was peek inside and look at the dash, then maybe you'd still be under the impression that this is a nice C10 restored to factory specs with an original-style wheel, factory gauges, and a dash that matches the exterior. But then you see comfort features like the AM/FM stereo with digital tuner and the ice-cold air conditioning. Plus, those late model bucket seats and Hurst shifter seems to suggest there is a more spirited drive lurking within this pickup. One look under the hood, and you'll lose your any impression that this is just some good 'ol pickup. It's packing a ZZ4 350 cubic-inch performance crate motor that's been further enhanced by aluminum heads, hi-rise intake, Holley Dominator four-barrel carburetor, and Hooker Super Competition long-tube headers. The stout BorgWarner T10 four-speed keeps you in complete control over all the power and that raucous exhaust note. But don't just listen the FlowMasters, check out where it's coming from. From the undercarriage photos you can see a nicely restored frame. Attached to it is an upgrade to an independent front suspension, disc brakes, and an anti-sway bar. The rear benefits from the trailering arm that has made these C10s superior on the road. This sleeper is made to look like a country pickup, it can really donate the whole city. It's a thoughtfully built restomod that you can't duplicate for this value price. Call today!!!
