1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu Additional Info:
1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu, California Car, Always Garaged, Unrestored!! Searching for cars like this is becoming increasingly difficult. This 70 Malibu Hardtop was sold new in Southern California and spent its entire life up until 2015 with the original owner who garaged the car every night of its life. Driven just 60,784 miles over 45 years, this car is an incredible find. Along with the fact of no rust ever, this Malibu has no sun damage as most cars from the Southwest do. Very rare to find a car from that climate with the original undamaged vinyl top and a near mint interior. The padded dash and rear package shelf, both original to the car are a testimony to this cars life being in a garage. This 70 Malibu is a 307 V-8 with a Turbo Hydramatic 350 transmission, power steering, under dash air conditioning radio with rear speaker front and rear bumper guards, tinted glass and all vinyl interior. It is a totally all matching number drivetrain car. The Body condition is outstanding with no rust ever and only small nicks, chips and a small crease on the right quarter panel. The car is original paint except for RT quarter panel which was refinished over 30 years ago to repair some level of light damage disclosed by the previous owner. The paint is fair overall showing some oxidation and fading but is actually quite presentable. Exterior Brightwork and glass is near mint condition. All panels fit properly and doors open and close like a vault. Weatherstripping is excellent. Trunk compartment is near mint, original paint, and mat. One original Uniroyal tire is in place as the spare and jack and tools are intact. Interior is spectacular with the exception of one seam split on front seat cushion that could be easily repaired. Carpets are so nice they appear new but are original to the car. Dash is virtually perfect as is the headliner, door panels, and seat belts. The car runs and drives as only a low mile original car, nearly as new. Recent service did do a complete overall of the brake system and a complete tune up. Everything works on the car as it should. The car is safe and reliable, could be driven anywhere. The underside of this car looks just as you might expect from a life in the southwest. Floors, frame, and chassis components are all rust free with no repairs ever and even surface rust is virtually nonexistent. Popular models of 60's and 70's cars are rare to find anymore in the areas of the Country that preserve a car like this. We have a very realistic reserve and we know that the next owner will soon realize what a truly special car this really is. src="http://i1291.photobucket.com/albums/b547/cizm/ebayMalibu/2016-07-26%2011.12.56_zpsihy53m3k.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo 2016-07-26 11.12.56_zpsihy53m3k.jpg"/>
