1975 Chevrolet Caprice Additional Info:
This great summer cruiser was purchased from the estate of a gentleman who owned it for about 20 years. Its loaded with factory options including:
400 ci V8 with 4 barrel carburetor
Automatic Transmission
Power Steering
Power Brakes
Power Windows
Power Top
Air Conditioning (IS ICE COLD and has just been serviced)
Cruise Control
Tilt Steering Wheel
Wire Wheel Covers
AM FM Stereo
Dual Remote Sport Mirrors
The car runs, drives and stops excellent. The engine starts instantly, its quiet and smooth. The transmission shiftsseamlessly and feels great. The tires have most of their tread. The seats show minimal wear and are bright white. The body looks very good, straight and solid but has a couple isolated spots beginning to rust. One of these is at the bottom of the passenger door, another is a small spot on the quarter panel end cap and the last is above the wheel opening on the right front fender. All appear to be easy fixes. The car has had one repaint in its original silver color and looks good. The convertible top works well and is nice and white. It has a glass rear window in excellent condition. The top itself has shrunk a bit from age and it is tearing at the outer seams. It will keep the rain off of your head and out of the car but I would plan on replacing it.There are also 2 cracks in the vinyl on the top of the dash board. The floors are very solid and everything seems to work well.
Overall, its a fun cruiser that has a great look to it and a reliable drive train to provide many miles of enjoyable summer fun.
