1990 Chevy 454 SS Pick-Up - Low Miles - Custom

1990 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 1500 Silverado Additional Info:

Up for adoption is our beloved 1990 454 SS. We call her (him) Black Cherry due to the beautiful Black Cherry Pearl paint.

It is a numbers matching 454 SS in stunning condition. The paint is at least 18 years old & looks beautiful. Gets 1st & 2nd place trophy's at every show.

We have owned this truck for 14 years & bought it pretty much as you see here. It was done by someone with very high standards (like us) & that's what attracted us to it.

It had 34K miles on it then & we have only put 3K on it since. Only goes to car shows, cruise nights & joy rides. It was made into a show truck very early in it's life as it shows NO signs of ever being used as a "truck" (see bed photo's). It has been upgraded with the following things:

• Custom Black Cherry Pearl paint. Truck was disassembled for painting, NO masking marks visible.
• Bell Tech Suspension front & rear. Spindles, springs, shocks, etc...
• General Grabber tires. 295/45-20 & 235/55-17 on American Racing 20 x 10" & 17 x 8.5" (tires & wheels were done in 2013)
• Rear frame has been boxed with ladder bars securing the3:73 posi rear axle
• Fiberglass Cowl Induction Hood
• Fiberglass bed cover. Bed fully carpeted inside
• Custom steel front bumper with integral driving lights
• Engine has Harland Sharp 1:7 ratio roller rockers, Edelbrock Jet Hot Coated SS Headers, Holley 900 CFM Injection & Flowmaster exhaust. It Sounds Great!

We have enjoyed it for some 14 years & it is time to pass the torch. It needs nothing but a loving home (with a garage of course!)

I've tried to include representative pictures of the truck but don't hesitate to contact me if you would like to see something in particular.

I restore cars for a living & know what it takes to bring one to this level. It could NOT be duplicated for our asking price. I'm Mike.....

An update to the above information...

I tried to take a pic of the VIN on the block but it is behind the air pump bracket. I cannot make out anystamping but there looks to beevidence of the block being decked (maybe, not 100% sure).Then I thought maybe warranty block? The VIN is clearly visible on the transmission & the engine shows NO sign of ever being out but since I am not the original owner I wanted to fully disclose this. Previous owner to me bought it in Sept 2000 with 30722 miles on it, I bought it Aug 2002 with 34710. I have NO records prior to this and with the privacy act it has become difficult but not impossible to get.
